At the New Years Reception of Düsseldorf’s Robert Schuhman School of Music and Media, Svenja Schulze, the Minister for Innovation, Science and Research of North Rhine-Westphalia, called the school’s website designed and conceived by Chewing The Sun a “fantastic website”. And we are as pleased about that as the Robert Schumann School.

Christian Stolls objects of desire
This is the second website we have done for Düsseldorf- and New York-based photographer Christian Stoll.
The new website has been programmed to be viewable on all platforms and mobile devices.
In his still life photographs even the most banal objects undergo a metamorphosis; they transform into objects of desire created by sophisticated digital processing.
Added-value space
With kadawittfeldarchitektur, Chewing The Sun has been able to win another client, and we are commissioned to develop their website.
In a first step, we did a workshop to define the online requirements and functional specifications.
kadawittfeldarchitektur’s projects include architecture, city building, interiors, and urban studies with focus on the public creation of meaning. Since 1999, the office has produced a number of internationally renown buildings, for example the Mercedes Benz’ headquarters in Salzburg, the Technical University of Salzburg, the adidas LACES administration building in Herzogenaurach and the AachenMünchener Insurance headquarters in Aachen. Moreover, kadawittfeldarchitektur has won numerous independent inter-/ national competitions such as the central station in Salzburg and the auditorium in Padova.
TIAD launch
Right before Christmas, we relaunched the website of Tomorrow Is Another Day.

»Das Neue Rheinland«
Exhibition catalogue for the Museum Morsbroich
We‘re proud to announce the release of the catalogue for the exhibition »Neues Rheinland – Die postironische Generation« which can be seen in the Museum Morsbroich in Leverkusen until February 13, 2011. Thirty young, but well known artists, participate in the exhibition and in the catalogue they are introduced with a short text by one author each.
This was part of the inspiration for the design of the book. All text pages in the book are set on a warm uncoated paper, contrasting the matt finished art print paper with the works of the artists.
Beneath the catalogue we did the invitation and flyer, poster and advertisement for »Das Neue Rheinland«.
